Is reading in dim light bad for your eyes?

ANSWER. Not really...as long you're not using a candle.  Playing with fire and candles is very dangerous and should be done only if you have to - like studying during a brown out.  Reading with good light and in a comfortable position can make reading a book and studying really fun and enjoyable.  But if you ask me, reading in dim light is still better than not reading at all.  There's more to life than TV and computer games.
