Playing with fire and candles is very dangerous and should be done only if you have to - like studying during a brown out. Reading with good light and in a comfortable position can make reading a book and studying really fun and enjoyable. But if you ask me, reading in dim light is still better than not reading at all. No. The amount of radiation emanating from modern monitors is so low that the risk of problems from prolonged use has not been shown to affect the eye adversely. However if you're in front of your monitor all the time, you may not be getting adequate sunlight and certainly your social life may not be too healthy either. Taking a break every now and then will allow you to rest your eyes and give you a chance to get a life. 15. Can cataract be treated with laser? ANSWER. No. Many people have been mistakenly led to believe that Lasers can cure a cataract and that it is a better option than having an operation.
